I enjoy riding things with two wheels including bicycles, scooters and motorcycles. You will often see me making my nine-mile commute on a Vespa which gets 80MPG and is a lot of fun!
Favorite Movie
Patton is high on my list, which is a long one because I love movies. It’s a great character study that shows how a strong leader can make a huge impact and accomplish amazing things, despite human flaws.

Michael joined PACCAR in 1991 and has since served in a variety of management positions in the Truck and Finance Divisions. He was the Controller of PACCAR Financial before moving to Corporate as an Operations Controller in 2000. As an Operations Controller, Michael is responsible for the Finance Division worldwide and helped establish PACCAR Financial Europe, which included living in Europe during the start-up phase. Michael’s responsibilities as an Operations Controller have also included the European truck and parts operations, treasury and external reporting. He was appointed to his current position in January 2007. Michael’s previous employment included nine years with Price Waterhouse.
A graduate of Brigham Young University, Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and is an actively licensed CPA. As a youth he served a two-year service mission in Japan, where he learned to speak Japanese. Michael is married with two adult children and no grandchildren – yet.
